YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
This policy describes how Tecastic, Inc. handles information through apps.tecastic.com and its client workspaces. The platform is currently in development.
Information we collect
- Account and workspace details: your email address, profile details you provide, client membership, roles, settings, and app access.
- App suggestions: your name, email, selected audience, idea, current workaround, and whether you allow follow-up.
- Client app information: records, files, branding, and integration settings supplied by you or your client workspace.
- Billing and support: customer and subscription references, payment status, support requests, and related correspondence.
- Technical information: service logs and request information, which may include IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, and errors. The suggestion form stores a keyed hash of an IP-related request value to limit abuse, rather than storing that value directly with the suggestion.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and apps, manage workspace permissions and subscriptions, respond to support requests, review app ideas, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service. For app suggestions, follow-up is optional and controlled by the checkbox on the form.
Who can access it
Authorized Tecastic administrators can review submissions and manage the platform. Client workspace administrators and members can access information according to their assigned roles. App suggestions are not displayed publicly.
We use service providers to host the platform and deliver authentication, billing, payments, support, and client-authorized integrations:
- Google Cloud and Firebase: hosting, storage, authentication, and operational services.
- Zoho: subscription billing, linked customer records, and support services when used.
- Stripe: hosted contribution checkout and payment processing. Payment details entered on Stripe are handled by Stripe; the contribution button does not collect card details on Tecastic’s pages.
- Client-selected providers: connected email or other services receive the information needed for the enabled integration.
Provider services are also subject to their own privacy policies: Google, Zoho, and Stripe. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to investigate misuse and protect the service.
Cookies and external content
We use a session cookie and authentication storage to keep you signed in. Blocking these may prevent account features from working. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to deliver them. External payment and support pages may use their own cookies and storage.
Storage and retention
The development platform uses Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. Other providers may process information in other locations. Retention depends on the record and provider: account, client, billing, support, and suggestion records may remain stored for service, security, and recordkeeping purposes. Closing a suggestion does not delete it. Backups and provider records may remain after a deletion request is processed.
We use access controls, encrypted connections, and restricted storage for integration credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not put passwords, API keys, or sensitive client records into the suggestion form.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit an idea, leave follow-up unchecked, and manage available account settings. To request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of follow-up permission, contact Tecastic through our support portal and identify your request as a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
If your account belongs to a client workspace, contact that client’s administrator about information they manage. Available privacy rights depend on your location and applicable law.
Children and student information
The public site, signup, and suggestion form are intended for adults managing their teams, not for children under 13. Do not submit children’s personal information through the suggestion form. School use involving student records requires separate arrangements with the client.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the platform develops. The date above identifies the latest version. Questions about this policy can be sent through Tecastic Support.
